Spartan Games Picks Up Halo!

So if you are not signed up for Spartan Games news letter, you probably did not see the big announcement today.  Spartan games has teamed up with Microsoft and will be producing a Spaceship combat game based on The hit console game Halo.  Not only that but they will also be doing a ground combat game.

This is pretty big news as it is Spartans first joint venture and their first Licensed IP game.  I am on the fence about it, but I ma hopeful this brings in the capital Spartan needs to really expand and ramp up and consolidate their core games systems.  The one we know and love and brought them to where they are now.

Like the title of the post says, only three seats left for the tournament. If you're planning to attend, the time to sign up is dwindling. 

The Road To Adepticon: We have Primer Missions!

I hope everybody is having a great weekend so far.  I also hope you are playing Firestorm Armada and getting those fleets and skills polished up for the big show in March.  I of course speak of Adepticon and The Schaumburg Prime Offensive.  More spots have opened up and are going very fast.

To help you guys hone those spaceship skills, we have come up with three Primer Missions.  Although the tournament is 4 rounds and the missions will be slightly different, the format will be the same as these Primer Missions.  If you have never played in a big tournament, Primer Missions being released weeks before the tournament is pretty common.  If gives you a chance to see what you have to do to win.  It lets you practice and get use to the format, as it is slightly different than a standard game of Firestorm Armada.

Six More Slots For Firestorm Armada At Adepticon... HURRY!

We just got word from Adepticon proper and they have given us six more slots for the Firestorm Tournament. I just checked the events list on their web site and it indeed shows a remaining capacity of six. We already have twenty players signed up, so if you are interested and want to join us in March for the North American Firestorm Championship, please sign up soon. We sold out initially in less than six hours, so there is no telling how long these bonus spots will last.

Warlog 3724 results! Adepticon Updates!

Hi all! SeerK here with a brief report on last years War log. If you are not familiar with the War log you can check it out over at the Spartan Community Forum. Basically you report the scores from your games in a standardized format and the scores contribute to the war log. It is broken up as Kurak Alliance vs Zenian League. It is then further divided by race. War log 3724 came to a close on December 31^st. War log 3725 is in full swing now recording the battles of 2015.

I am proud to say that 4 out of the 8 Admirals listed as the top Admirals for the War log 3724 are from my local group and actually write for this blog! I am also happy to say the Zenian League was the clear winner for 3724! Remember Dramos! Well lets look at the top 8 Admirals.
