Adepticon Updates! Tournament Schedules and Check In!

Greetings all! We are a week away from the big show and I wanted to make a couple of announcements in regards to both The Schaumburg Prime Offensive and The Schaumburg Beach Head.  We are basically done with most everything and getting it all packed up.  The crew will be arriving on Wednesday pretty much throughout the day.  Myself and a couple others will be there by noon.  We will be setting up Thursday afternoon in the main hall if anybody wants to come say hi!  This is also the prime time to ask us for practice games.  There may be some takers once we are set up and had a chance to wander a bit.



In regards to both tournaments, we want to stay on schedule on both Friday and Saturday so I am posting the schedule for both Tournaments now.  You will notice we are going to start check in at 8 A.M. for The Schaumburg Prime Offensive.  This is to help us get things going and to finish a bit earlier than last year.  You can also email your army lists to us early for checking.  Now this means you are locked into the list for the tournament once we have it.  you can email it to.....

The 2nd Annual Schaumburg Prime Offensive Schedule

8:00 A.M. to 8:45 - Check in and List Registration

8:50 - Round 1 Pairings Announced

9:00 to 11:30 - Round 1

11:30 - 12:15 - First Break (Lunch) [45 minutes]

12:15 to 2:45 - Round 2

2:45 to 3:15 - Second Break [30 minutes]

3:15 to 5:45 - Round 3

5:45 to 6:45 - Third Break (Dinner) and Paint Judging [60 minutes]

6:45 to 9:15 - Round 4

9:15 to 9:30 - Awards

The Schaumburg Beachhead Schedule

9:00 A.M. to 9:30- Check in and List Registration

9:30 to 11:30 - Round 1

11:30 to Noon - First Break [30 minutes]

Noon to 2:00 - Round 2

2:00 to 3:00- Second Break (Lunch) and Paint Judging [60 minutes]

3:00 to 5:00 Round 3

5:00 to 5:30 Awards

The Class on Friday is going to be taught by George "Spellduckwrong" Gasser.  It is being moved to the Utopia D room so he can give you a nice presentation via projector, in addition to teaching you how to play Firestorm Armada.  It had a capacity of 8, but if you are curious come hang out and get the low down on everybody's favorite space ship combat game.  The class starts at 2 P.M. on Friday of the convention.
