This list has proven to be able to handle itself in nearly all situations as long as I am not being stupid. There's options for nearly any situation, and I can play this list as cagey or aggressive as I need to, which I feel is one of its main strengths. It has some rough match ups, but the feeling seems to be mutual with my opponent in those cases. The rough match ups generally tend be great games because they are so close though, so at least there's that.
Let's see if Fortune smiles on me.
Congrats on 9th place finish. I'm curious about the storm guardians. What do they bring to the list?
ReplyDeleteThanks man, and congratulations on your impressive 5th place! Interestingly, it looks like I tied overall for 8th with Mr. Koziel. I wonder what put him over on me. I had him on battle points and sports, but he got me on paint. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteThe Storm Guardians actually bring a lot of utility to the list. They've won me several games so far. They can be used to counter attack a unit that charges one of my tanks, they can attack the enemy's back line units, hang up a shooting unit, lots of stuff. They are just very versatile with a high potential for awesome.
I don't think I would necessary need many more of them, but having one squad has been wonderful.
